Every year the CES, International Consumer Electronic Show, brings together industry leaders to promote innovation and growth in the electronics industry.
At the show (held on from January 8 to 11), Sony unveiled the Xperia Z which has a pretty remarkable set of features. These features make the phone a serious contender in an already highly competitive smartphone market.
On the technical side it features that all too familiar 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and runs Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean. On a more exciting note it has some seriously cool features, one of which we’ll save for the promo video below. Highlights include a 5” 1080 x 1920p full HD display; a 13MP camera with HDR video – a first for smartphone devices; integration with your Bravia display including sharing your phone’s images and video by simply touching the Bravia remote control (beat that Apple TV).
The other feature is also a first in the smartphone market which takes a great looking phone and gives it an entire new appeal. You can look forward to the phone arriving at our shores in the next few months.
