Ironman South Africa is the biggest triathlon on African soil and a true test of human endurance and spirit. This year the 17 hour event will take place in Port Elizabeth on Sunday, 21 April.
The sport has progressed over the years and athletes pushed themselves far beyond what people thought was possible. Ironman has allowed triathletes to break into the world of endurance sport and is the ultimate test in stamina and determination.
