After a successful 2013 tour, the Kings of Chaos are returning to South Africa to deliver another earth-shattering performance.
Very special guest, the legendary Steven Tyler joins the phenomenal Kings of Chaos ‘All-Star’ band as they bring the show back to SA.
Once again at the band’s core are Matt Sorum, Gilby Clarke and Duff McKagan – all originally from Guns n Roses. In addition to Tyler this time they are being joined by; Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top); Robin Zander (Cheap Trick) and Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme) – with more stellar guest artists scheduled to be announced in the coming weeks.
“One of the most exciting elements of the Kings of Chaos tours is that each show is a ‘moment in musical history’ because you will never ever see that particular line-up again. Each show is completely unique,” said concert promoter Andy Mac of AMP Events.
“It’s like a Festival line up of some of the greatest rock bands in the world, all crammed into one 2 hour long Rock & Roll Master Class! Anyone that was at last year’s events will know that this concert is all about delivering all the hit songs that people have come to know and love – and with the catalogue of hit songs to work with between Aerosmith, Guns n Roses, ZZ Top, Cheap Trick and Extreme, you can just imagine how incredible this year’s shows are going to be!.” beams Mac.
The 2013 Kings of Chaos SA tour was a sell-out success, but now that SA audiences have experienced this extraordinary group in the flesh, AMP Events is expecting the 2014 shows to sell even faster. The venues will be very intimate, with only 1 000 Golden Circle tickets available in Cape Town.
“We deliberately avoid going to large outdoor venues, and instead choose to offer a far more premium experience by hosting these very special concerts in the two best indoor arenas in the country. The Sun City Superbowl and the Grand Arena GrandWest are the perfect venues to experience these iconic Super Stars in comfort and with world class sound. Whether you choose to rock out in the Golden Circle or prefer to rather sit comfortably and appreciate their artistry, your experience will be a thoroughly enjoyable one – and that’s really what counts most to us at the end of the day,” concluded Mac.
