Infiniti’s Emerg-E concept is sleek and sexy as a radicle ride – this hot number is fairly quick to pull the trigger.
The introduction of the Emerge-E showcases the brilliance and innovative ideas of Infiniti. Pronounced Emerge, this concept car was first introduced in March to the world – setting off a domino effect of oohs and aahs. Based on the Lotus Evora Paltform it is juiced by two powerful electric motors that powers each wheel. It isn’t exactly sluggish, producing 300kW and making the switch from 0 to 60mph in just four seconds. It also has a top speed of 209km/h.
The Emerg-E can run a maximum range of 48.3km (electric motor fuelled) and thereafter a three-cylinder petrol engine comes into play hereby recharging the lithium-ion battery pack. Unfortunately this vehicle will remain a concept and not join the production line.
In terms of its design, it brandishes one of the most awesome designs we have seen in a car. Its creases and contours conjures an artistic and dramatic effect that will force people to stop and take a long hard look at it. It handles like a dream and hugs the corners, you can be assured it is going to be a pleasurable ride.
