Harley-Davidson partnered with Bell & Ross (a time instruments manufacturer) to create one of the world’s most unique and amazing motorbikes, and it’s truly a masterpiece. The bike, based on the FXSTB Softail Nightrain, was completely transformed by Shaw Harley-Davidson using the same philosophy as the master watchmakers, Bell & Ross – the result of this transformation is this Bell & Ross inspired Nascafe Racer.
Every part of the bike was stripped down and every small detail was taken into account while rebuilding this striking machine. There are a massive number of custom details on this bike including it’s aggressively lowered front end and a huge 240mm rear tyre, with massive braking rotors on both the front and rear wheels. It features a handmade rear fender with an exit pipe for the built-in modified exhaust system, and its tailored seat with cross stitching is a standout. It has an anodized 1690cc Harley-Davidson motor, a Cafe Racer style petrol tank, and handcrafted sheet aluminium was used to match the designs of the bike and were built around the front end to cover the oil tank, which has been relocated to allow for the addition of the exhaust system.
The iconic timepiece produced by Bell & Ross, the BR 01 Carbon, was mounted in a handcrafted centre console of the bike, as a specialised instrument for the rider and a centre piece to this incredible bike. The combination of anodised blue, carbon and beautiful matt black custom paint was used to reflect the timepiece’s look and feel, giving this bike its final touches.
