Silent Waters Villa is located in Great River Private subdivision on the North Coast Highway approximately six miles west of Montego Bay, Jamaica. Jamaica is the largest English-speaking island in the Caribbean and the third largest in the region. The island is 146 miles long with widths varying between 35 and 82km and the total land area is 10991 sq. km.
The island has a narrow, discontinuous coastal plain and is covered with luscious world class sandy beaches. The general climate is tropical; hot and with higher humidity primarily during the months of June through September and with an average year around temperature of 27ºC. Officially, the hurricane season is 1 July through 30 November with the peaks being during second half of August and second half of September.
