If the Google Nexus 7 is anything to go by, the new Google Nexus 10 tablet that was recently launched is going to be an amazing entrant to the tablet market.
At 300ppi, the 2560 X 1600 resolution will render you awesome picture quality. It can already lay claim to having the highest resolution display from any tablet currently available and it weighs only 603 grams. Gadget fundis will appreciate the superior workmanship that has gone into producing this tablet. It is very comfortable and user friendliness is an added plus. The display is lined with thin speakers on either side that are barely noticeable. The speakers may be thin but that is nothing to go by with regard to the sound as it pushes out some quality sound and is louder than most tablets.
The device feels very comfortable when you hold it in landscape and slightly heavier when held in portrait. Its power button is on the flat top edge, and on the corner lies a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Micro USB port. On the right side lies a Micro HDMI jack. There are also six pogo pins for connecting purposes.
This bad boy is powered by a slightly beefed up Android system – Android 4.2. changes are minor but it is a lot more reliable and faster and still gives off a better working product. The camera has brought about a new software face-lift. A circular menu allows you to operate the whole camera with a thumb. On the downside the camera is not amazing as it is only five megapixels. The tablet shoots HD effortlessly and produces some smooth imagery and it has great battery life. Overall it is a fantastic product and definitely a frontrunner in its division.
