We are nearing an age that resembles elements of Blade Runner and the Jetsons and inventions such as the Aerofex Hoverbike whole-heartedly perpetuate that notion. Aerofex have exclaimed that they are creating exciting technology that will change the way people perceive and utilize flight. Take a look at their hoverbike and immediately deduce that that is not just an outrageous statement, they really mean business. If Aerofex gets their way, this land based hovercraft is going to be the way of the future.
Powered by an engine and two ducted fans, it is supposed to be fairly easy to manoeuvre – pretty similar to riding a bike. Since 2008, the manufactures have been working on making the hoverbike’s controls as simplistic as possible. It has capabilities of achieving an altitude of 15 feet and a top speed of 30mp/h. Its release date has not been divulged but you can make an educated guess that the wait will be well worth it.
