If you are the outdoorsy type or looking for a thrill and some adventure, you should check out the Gravity Adventure Festival.
The Gravity Adventure Festival is an event consisting of various outdoor challenges. It started nine years ago as a kayaking event. It was timed to coincide with high water conditions on the Palmiet River near Kleinmond, about an hour from Cape Town. Additional events were added each year until the Festival reached its current format.
This year’s events include the Black Diamond Nite Trail Run, Downriver Kayak Race, Timed Kayak Sprint, Downriver Croc Race, Cadiz River Mile Swim, Sprint Adventure Race, Trail Run, SUP estuary sprint and surf event, Sportsman’s Warehouse MTB Race, Kids Mountainbike, Kids Trail Run, Kids Paddling Event.
