Black by popular demand! Blacks Only Comedy Show will return to the Sandton Convention Centre at the end of this month for more side-splitting laughs. Join award winning comedian David Kau as he reprises his role as MC.
Always known for bringing up and coming comedians to the forefront of SA comedy, the line-up includes:
Loyiso Madinga is the most recent winner of the popular stand-up competition “Graça Comedy Showdown”. With only a handful of performances under his belt, Madinga is already well on his way to becoming the next big name in local comedy.
Donovan David Goliath (true story) is a Caucasian looking coloured guy from Mthatha who speaks Xhosa (true story). His act includes a lot of storytelling and simple insights using various characters and impersonations to get his message across. Capetonian comedian Schalk Bezuidenhout is a favourite on the Afrikaans comedy circuit, wringing every ounce of comedy out of being an Afrikaner fish-out-of-water in the new South Africa.
Skhumba Hlophe is a Tembisa born comedian who launched his career by blazing the Soweto/Tshwane Comedy Festival where his larger than life comedy thrilled audiences and critics alike.
