Looking at the Peugeot RCZ for the first time will get you interested in the car very quickly. It is a very stylish coupe with modern curves mixed in with an aggressive look. Now with the relatively poor showing from Peugeot on the race track in the last decade, maybe even two, you would expect a pretty lame excuse for an engine; pretty much like watching the French play rugby – it looks good but it very rarely works.

Peugeot RCZ 500x375 The Peugeot RCZ is not French

Well Peugeot may prove our expectations wrong with a 1.6 litre (think fuel economy) motor that produces a neat 147kW (think Ford Focus ST killer) under the hood of this French beauty. They also have a few variations of the motor with one of them being a diesel motor that is capable of producing 120kW and will no doubt be able to have the most insane fuel efficiency (think Sandton to Camps Bay on one tank with some left over for driving around).

We will probably only see the RCZ early next year for quite a neat price. Whatever the price is, it will be nice seeing a new face in the Sports Coupe segment.
