Ferrari’s 599 GTB-replacement, the F12berlinetta, is a two-seater coupé that will reach 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds and 0-100mph in 8.5 seconds. Its Ferrari’s fasted car, ever!
The sports car is powered by a 6.3 litre V12, naturally aspirated, direct injection mid-engine, which develops 740 horsepower with 690 Nm of torque (maxing out at 8,700 rpm). It can also be ordered with a super-slock 7-speed Grand Prix style automatic dual clutch gearbox (with a manual override via its F1-inspired paddles on the steering wheel). At 1,525 kg, the power-to-weight ratio of 2.1 kg/CV and dual-clutch transmission aid the impressive results, however, the F12berlinetta also consumes 30% less fuel than its predecessor.
The exciting new Ferrari features a transaxle layout with a shortened wheelbase and lowered engine, dashboard and seats, as well as the aluminium chassis and body designed by Scaglietti.
It features updated carbon-ceramic brakes and a “magnetorheological” suspension control system, and now standard in the F12berlinetta are E-Diff, ESP Premium, F1-Trac and high-performance ABS.
The interior is just as hot with Frau leather, carbon fiber and aluminium air vents.
