It’s every surfer’s dream – a lovingly crafted, cleverly designed and hugely expensive surfboard. Board designer Roy Stewart has outdone himself again with the gorgeous Baron wooden longboard.
At around 12ft in length and 2.3-inches thick, the Baron weighs a hefty 23kg making it a speedier board in the water. Manufactured by Paulowina wood in a layered formulation ensures that the board is more flexible and significantly thinner. The Baron is also said to be the most hydrodynamically advanced boards ever built, primarily due to its 8 inch tunnel with inline boomerang flex fin as well as the surfboard’s parallel profile construction.
This beauty will set you back a cool $528 000 and has apparently already caught the attention from various pro surfers across the world.
