South Africa was just graced with the Ford Focus RS, which is simply gorgeous. Sadly South Africa won’t be seeing the road version of the Fiesta RS. Well, not anytime soon. However, we can have a look at the Ford Fiesta RS WRC World Rally Car and we look at it with eyes wide open and jaws dropped.

It was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show where a few lucky people were able to check it out. It will be making its debut at Rally Sweden in the first round of the 2011 FIA World Rally Championship in February next year. Ford seems to have adopted aggressive styling on their hot hatches which is working well, especially on their rally cars.
The Fiesta RS WRC looks like it wants to pounce on anything in its sight and if you’re behind it, it looks like it wants to say goodbye and throw some dirt in your face. The paint job on the motor-show model is also really appealing and compliments the aggressive styling; it was developed by Ford especially for the show.

It will boast a four-wheel drive transmission which is very “rally style”, and the power will be delivered by a 1.6 litre turbocharged engine.
The Fiesta RS WRC will replace the Focus RS WRC after an average year in the 2010 FIA World Rally Championship, only winning the New Zealand Rally in May which was Ford’s 75th at WRC level.
