The Akoya Light Amphibious Ski Plane by airplane visionaries Lisa Airplanes has hit a landmark in aviation and then some.

As the name suggests, the Akoya Light Amphibious Ski Plane can land on almost any natural surface, that being land water and even snow. The possibilities for this plane are endless. From rescue services to even the navy, this plane could be highly beneficial. Its wings fold so it can be stored or transported easily.

The plane contains Seafoil technology, Lisa Airplane’s multi-access patented technology, which are hydrofoils located under the fuselage, the skis integrated with the retractable landing gear and its pivoting wings, offers an unequaled freedom and pleasure of flight. It hits a top speed of 138 mph (222 km/h) in the US and 155 mph (250 km/hr) in Europe, a range of more than 1,000 miles (1,600 km) and a low fuel consumption of only 36 mpg (3.3 gal/h; 6.5 L/100km.
