To celebrate Porsche entering the Chinese market in 2001 (now the second largest market for Porsche worldwide) they are celebrating the 10th anniversary with a special edition Porsche Turbo S.
Only 10 are being produced, each identified by a unique number placed on the right side wheel-arch, they are priced at around $540,000.00, and go on sale this month.
Characterised by a gold/ bronze metallic exterior with complementary accents in matte carbon and high-gloss black on the 19″ Sport Classic wheels, the aerodynamics are also improved by an Aerokit front spoiler, front lid, and black matte carbon fibre mirrors. The interior combines black leather with carbon inserts and alcantara, the instrument dials are black with golden insertions and the leather stitching in gold also mirrors the exterior tones.
This incredible car comes with a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six Boxer engine developing 530 bhp and 516 pound-feet of torque. This is matched to a seven-speed Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) dual clutch transmission and all-wheel drive configuration. Combined with the launch control system from the Sport Chrono Package, the 911 Turbo S China 10th Anniversary Edition accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 313 km/h.
Owners of this limited edition Porsche also receive a replica sculpture with each owner’s name personally engraved on the base plate.
