Universally and especially while in another country, if you can’t communicate, expect disaster. The Lingopal could be your best bud while on vacation. This App is a multilingual translator that includes audio cues. It is highly sophisticated and even asks for your gender as many languages are gender specific when it comes to tone and context. You are bound to find the language you are looking for as there are over 42 languages to choose from and over 900 phrases. It even is broken down into categories to help you find something specific. The flirting category should especially come into handy at some point.

Hostelworld is like having your own travel agent in the palm of your hand. This App is an online provider of inexpensive accommodation from around the world. Search through an international database of some affordable lodging options and make the booking once you have found what suits your pocket. You never know when you may need a sudden change of accommodation pronto so Hostelworld is definitely an App you will need to make life a little easier while you commence with your backpacking endeavours.
