A new significant contender in international luxury hotels market is none other than fashion designer Giorgio Armani with the Armani Hotel Dubai which opened in April 2010.
The hotel occupies 15 of the first 39 floors of the Burj Khalifa (the world’s tallest building) and houses 160 guest rooms and suits. The Armani Residence of the hotel features suites on floors 16 through 37, all consisting of one and two bedroom luxury apartments, ranging from 100 sq. metres to 215 sq. metres, and are all decorated and furnished by the Armani Casa Collection. The Armani Dubai Suites are also one of kind with 390 square metres of space, all personally designed by Giorgio Armani.

The hotel also has eight restaurants, all designed by Armani, along with a quiet but large Armani spa, the first of its kind, on the third floor, which also opens to an outdoor swimming pool on the spa’s terrace.
