For so long we have heard rumours about the iPhone 5 and the hype behind it worked tech geeks up into a frenzy but the wait is over and the iPhone 5 is here.
According to Apple some major upgrades have been made to this iconic phone, making it the thinnest, lightest and fastest iPhone ever made. For those of you who hate chunky phones this is ideal for you as this iPhone’s design is ultra slim but it includes a larger display. After all I have never met anybody who complained about a larger display. Despite its petite nature it still manages to house all proper components to give you a superior product. Its chip is a lot faster, includes state of the art wireless technology, an 8 MP camera and heaps more. It is hard to believe that the phone weighs only 112 grams, making it 20 percent lighter than its predecessor.
Even though its display has been increased, the phone has the same width as the iPhone 4 so you can still type with one hand. The advantages of a wider display are numerous. It makes your screen a lot more vibrant as you can see a lot more of the web page you are viewing, more calendar events and even more apps. Picture quality is spectacular at 326 pixels per inch. Colours are enhanced by 44 percent due to colour saturation and you even can watch widescreen HD videos. iPhone 5 supports more networks all over the world. That includes advanced networks such as HSPA, HSPA+, and DC-HSDPA. Browse, download, and stream content at ultrafast speeds. Dual-band 802.11n wireless connectivity accelerates your Wi-Fi experience, too — up to 150 Mbps.
Everything is a lot faster with kudos going to the new A6 chip. It also enhances graphics as frame rates are heightened ensuring better gameplay. It has up to 8 hours of browsing on a cellular connection, up to 8 hours of talk time, and up to 10 hours of video playback time. Music lovers are in for a treat as it emits beautiful crystal clear sound. The iPhone 5’s camera shoots with pin point accuracy taking in a lot of detail and the front-facing camera has been upgraded to a 720p version. Its Siri feature is nothing short of amazing. Ask it a question like what movie to see or where is the closest ATM and remarkably you will get your answers. The verdict is iPhone 5 lives up to the hype – possibly a milestone in smartphone technology.
