GoPro users will be beaming from ear to ear with the launch of the GoPro App that gives users control over your GoPro camera through use of your tablet or smartphone.
The kings of the action-cam, GoPro have certainly made life a little easier for its loyal users. The App requires the Hero3, HD Hero2 camera and Wi-Fi BacPac but thankfully it costs zilch. The App instantly transforms your tablet or smartphone into a live video remote. Users will have control over its camera settings, live video preview (makes it a lot simpler to frame your shot) and a lot more. It will also enable users to access the Photo and Video of the Day. The GoPro App is compatible with most smartphones and tablets.
Other features include playback and share content stored on your camera’s SD card, as well as multi-camera control. Apparently it will also soon be available for androids. The GoPro App is available here on iTunes.
