The Archipelago Cinema is certainly, the type of creation that you probably have to see for yourself to actually believe it exists.
It is a floating cinema on the rock riddled shoreline of Yao Noi, Thailand and was designed by German-born and Beijing-based architect Ole Scheeren for The Film on the rocks Yao Naoi Festival.
Guests are transported by boat to a glowing raft on the quiet waters of Kudu Island. They then view the screening from the raft that was built from recycled material. Watching a movie in an environment that has massive rocks, emerging from beneath the water, bodes well for a unique viewing experience.
