The FLUX team was at FNB Stadium (formerly known as Soccer City) over the weekend and we were unlucky enough to see the Boks lose in the dying moments to the All Blacks.

We were, however, lucky enough to be a part of history. We made up just a handful of the 94 000; the biggest crowd to watch the Boks play live. We also got to see the world’s greatest number of Elvis impersonators sing an Elvis song simultaneously. Yes, we also thought it was very random.

The highlight must have been 90 000 plus fans singing the national anthem in a stadium shaped like a calabash. At some points the entire crowd drowned out the PA system, especially during the Afrikaans part of the anthem; we have no idea why that would happen.
