This game is innovative and ingenious, borrowing concepts from pool and table tennis. Quad Table Tennis requires between two to four players and can be played indoors or outdoors. The game comprises of four tables (each 24″ long x 18″ wide) that are shaped almost like medieval shields that are situated close to each other. The back legs of the table is slightly inclined to create a slope that lets the ball bounce.
Fast reflexes are the name of the game as players attempt to score against other. Tables are marked with lines for serves and have a small hole in the centre (of the table). If you are able to get the ball into the centre of the table, you score a point.
Yes, Quad Table Tennis is somewhat unconventional but different is definitely good in this case as it is unpredictable, fast paced, action packed and a heap of fun. It includes four tables, four balls and four paddles.
