Red Bull X-Fighters Jams comes to South African where FMX champion and Red Bull athlete, Nick De Wit is set to take to the skies with his personal selection of the best riders in the country. Crowds will be treated to an acrobatic display of FMX big moves, the likes of which have seldom been seen here.
De Wit became the first African to compete in Red Bull X-Fighters, and has achieved 5th in the World Rankings, 4th in two separate World Cup events, and even secured 4th place in X Games Best Trick in Dubai, with his mind-blowing tricks.
De Wit says, “Red Bull X-Fighters take place in locations where you would never expect top-class motorsports. The FMX tour stops at the most famous cities and historic sites all around the world and we are looking forward to bringing the Jams to SA”.
The 2011 Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour features stops in United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Italy, Spain and Poland, before the World Tour finishes in Australia. The Red Bull X-Fighters Jams, designed as a series of FMX exhibitions to showcase the main Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour, attract thousands of people in every country.
The South African leg of the Red Bull X-Fighters Jams kicks off on the beaches of Durban on the 9th July and runs throughout the country, finishing in Bloemfontein on the 13th August. Entrance to the events is free and open to all, so be sure not to miss this top-class display.
