The art of surfing and cinematography meet in Rip Curl’s short film Mirage Moments – a fantastic display of what it’s like riding the perfect wave.
Rip Curl’s surf team of Mick Fanning, Owen Wright, Matt Wilkinson, Dillon Perillo and Dean Brady took to some of the greatest waves known to surfers and with the help of brand partners TimeSlice Films and GoPro HD created a “30 camera array”– a line of consistently firing cameras that captured each surfer as they rode by. The result? Wow-moments where the video freezes and the moments are captured from all angles giving the viewer stunning moments in time as never seen before.
