Firstly, you need to head over to fluxmag.com/mag/ to check out one of South Africa’s hottest digital magazines that features great articles and all-round fascinating and exclusive content. Find out more information here.
When you get to the first page of the magazine you will see our exclusive cover with Steven Pienaar, which pretty much looks like the same format as any cover of some of the lesser printed magazines out there. This magazine can be flipped through like any normal magazine, so try it; go to the right hand top or bottom corner of the magazine and click-and-drag the cover open, as you would do when you page through a printed magazine.
We have aimed at making this magazine as close to “real” as possible, in terms of being a printed-magazine reading-experience, and not just some blog that claims to be an online magazine. However, what separates this digital magazine from our lesser print-based relatives is that instead of pages of static reading we have added tons of rich-media, such as image galleries, videos, pop-up information and even some “secret” information.
This makes any page highly interactive which allows you to get every bit of information, about whatever you are reading, possible. The key to finding the dynamic content is to look for the arrows and any text that asks you to click it. Also try dragging the cursor around some of the features’ images to, in some circumstances, get more pop-up information.
Lastly, if you like what you see with any of the great advertisers and want to have a look at their website for further details, click the company’s logo inside the advert and a new window will open, taking you to their website.
We hope you enjoy the digital FLUX Mag; this is the first issue of many great and better issues to come…
