As far as durable watches goes, it is going to be a laborious task finding a tougher watch than this timepiece by Dzmitry Samal as part of it is fashioned from concrete. In particular, the housing is made from concrete. There are eight different styles to choose from and apparently about 100 to 150 units of each design will be manufactured.
These watches are highly fashionable and emit unique individualistic style. Each watch has been crafted by hand in Switzerland. After all it is no secret that the Swiss are the authority when it comes to making watches.
“Watch-making, as I see is more than just a time measuring mechanism. It is the main male jewellery and should reflect the personality and strength of its owner. I chose concrete, a noble, modern, honest and robust material, the stuff our megapolis is made of. My designs are sophisticated in their simplicity and plainly contemporary…”, said Dzmitry Samal.
