Instrumental-type bands are quickly becoming fashionable in South Africa, with the likes of Goldfish showing the world what South African bands are producing and that we can actually compete on an international level.
Now GoodLuck are relatively new to the scene, and might not yet have the prestige that the likes of Goldfish have, but when you listen to the music they are producing they are definitely not far behind and they have that electric live performance that makes instrumental bands so amazing.
GoodLuck have played in many countries around the world and have played alongside the likes of Paul Oakenfold, DJ Fresh, Just Jinjer, Shaun Duvet, Euphonic and Casette. Their jazzy sound that blends electro beats with the sound of a sax, the drums and a keyboard make for a fresh sound that gets most parties started.
We have heard that they will be releasing their first album towards the end of the year after quite a long wait already, although they do have a demo CD that a few people have been lucky enough to get.
