RamFest 2012 is almost here and South Africans are getting ready for the alternative music experience of the year. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, RamFest organisers have announced the addition of even more international acts.

Five cities, five days and seven stages, RamFest 2012 kicks off in Port Elizabeth on 2 March at Hume Park and wraps up on 11 March on Ostrich Ranch, Cape Town. Joining some of South Africa’s favourite local acts like Fokofpolisiekar, Taxi Violence, Hog Hoggidy Hog and All Will Fall will be AWOLNATION (USA), In Flames (Sweden), Infected Mushroom (Israel) and drum and bass master NETSKY ft. MC Darrison (Belgium and UK).

For the second year running Joburg’s Riversands Farm will be host to RamFest fans. This year, Joburg offers camping facilities. After the success of Railway to RAMfest in 2010 and 2011, Hotbox Express has decided to organise a party bus from Pretoria to Ramfest JHB. To book your seat, click here.

RamFest wraps up in the Mother City with The Ostrich Ranch located only 20 minutes’ drive from Cape Town along the N7, towards the West Coast. Don’t drink and drive: RamFest bus in collaboration with Easy Company will be transporting festival-goers to the Ostrich Ranch and back. There are three possible pick-up points.
