One in 29 South African women is diagnosed with breast cancer each year. If breast cancer is diagnosed and treated early, a woman stands a good chance of recovering completely. Educating women about the symptoms of breast cancer and the need for regular check-ups is vital to combating the disease. The Pink Polo event will help to highlight these facts to the public and to raise funds for Reach for Recovery.
