Four days of family fun, festivals and watersports galore await visitors to this year’s Nelson Mandela Splash Festival in Port Elizabeth from 6 to 9 April.
The Splash Festival is fast becoming one of the country’s most-loved gatherings especially those South Africans who enjoy watersports and team playing. This year PE will come alive from Friday 6 April to Monday 9 April with activities ranging from a World Cup Surf Ski race, World Inflatable Boat Championships, a South African A-rated volleyball tournament as well as the much-loved traditional Easter egg hunt.
Local music fans can look forward to an array of well known South African artists including Afrikaans, rock and gospel acts. A spectacular fireworks display will light up the night sky and provide the perfect ending to each action-packed day. Food and craft markets will be stacked with local goodies. Get to PE over Easter and splash out!
