Festival organiser, Caitlin Hanley, tells all to “come prepared for hours in the sun, floating on the cool BreedeRiver, listening to some of SA’s top artists. Once the river stage comes to an end you can expect the tone to keep climbing. Punters will be treated to surprises at every turn and as each night comes to an end at the Jagermeister main stage, the music will continue at the new Hunters Stage. Up The Creek has something for everyone; in terms of music styles, a variety of food options, camping with or without your cars, and great selection at the various bars so that everyone walks away in a shared state of mind; happy and content.”
MK MUSIC KOMBI:
This year MK will be back in the form of a colourful Music Kombi. Leading Creekers, as the Pied Piper once did with the rats, down to the SedgwicksRiver stage, back up to the Hunters stage and across to the Jagermeister Main stage. Loaded with musicians following the lead of our very own Pied Piper, DJ Dirtroad, the MK kombi will entertain Creekers throughout the weekend. Whether between two bars, at the festival gate, down on the riverbank or even half way up that ‘hill,’ nothing will seem impossible. You can expect to enjoy live performances atop the kombi’s rooftop stage, a bevy of DJs from within the kombi’s belly and perhaps even an appearance from our visiting Drag Queen, Mary Scary.
HEARTBREAK MOTEL:
If you want to rock out in a little more comfort, then the Heartbreak Motel tented accommodation is for you. There are two options of pre-pitched tents, hot showers, toilets, buffet breakfast and other luxuries. For more info and bookings go www.heartbreakmotel.co.za
FOOD COURT:

Under their Bedouin you’ll be privy to a comfort and vibe as only Sedgwicks can share. The Cape Town food trucks contingent are journeying up to the Creek to bring you the widest range of delicious food. And in true Sedwicks style it just keeps getting better, your breakfast will be accompanied by live music next year and giveaways will be a plenty. Groking won’t be accepted (when is it ever!?) but you can absolutely bibble away to your hearts` content.
