The resulting team’s tour, both locally and internationally, made not only comedy history, but created comedy heroes with their sold-out performances in front of over 60 000 fans locally.

And now they are back to defend their titles with the starring line-up of Trevor Noah, Barry Hilton, John Vlismas, Loyiso Gola, Nik Rabinowitz, Mark Banks and newcomers Eugene Khoza and Stuart Taylor. Bafunny Bafunny will tour Joburg and Cape Town during October and is sure to have comedy lovers in stitches with this year’s aptly named, and homage to the 2011 Rugby World Cup, The Odd Shaped Ball show.

Created by comedy specialists Hunta Live who are no strangers to hosting international comedy heavyweights in arenas across South Africa (Chris Rock’s No Apologies and Jeff Dunham’s tour) or at their annual Comedy Festivals nationally, their latest offering, Bafunny Bafunny – The Odd Shaped Ball will be the highlight on the comedy calendar.
