MTN will be hosting the Ayoba Festival from 24 October until 4 December at Montecasino, Joburg. The festival promises to offer something for everyone from local and international music, theatre, sport, film and lifestyle events to food and wine feasts and children’s activities.
Beer lovers can look forward to the Bavarian Oktober Bierfest from 28 to 30 at Montecasino’s Outdoor Event Area. One of the Festival highlights, The Black Tie Comedy Festival, brings a mix of international comedians like Aries Spears, Reese Waters, Godfrey, Wil Sylvince and Earthquake together onstage.
Then there’s The Fine Life Wine, Art and Chocolate Exhibition from 3 to 5 November, the inaugural Wade Bales Wine and Malt Whiskey Affair and for the motoring enthusiasts there is Cobra Day’s annual Concourse Day on 13 November.
The Ayoba Festival will run throughout the week but expect more action from Thursdays to Sundays. There is no entry fee or central access to the Festival but large events such as theatre shows, music concerts and food tastings require tickets via either Computicket or iTicket.
