Belarusian fashion model Maryna Linchuk (24) is probably one of the most exotic and sought-after leggy fashionistas out there today.
Along with Mat Gordonand Valeria Garcia, Linchuk was one of the faces of Escada’s Moon Sparkle fragrance and was the face of the fall/winter 2008 Miss Dior Cherie fragrance. Her gorgeous 5ft 11” bod’ has been featured on the covers of Italian and Portuguese Vogue while ad execs for Versace, Donna Karan, Dior, Gap, Dolce & Gabbana and Max Mara have repeatedly scooped her up for their print campaigns.
Linchuk strutted her stuff in the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Victoria’s Secret fashion shows, as well as for designers Derek Lam, Givenchy, Gucci, Michael Kors, Prada, and haute couturier Christian Lacroix. Vogue Paris has declared her as one of the top 30 models of the 2000s.
Her signature blonde tresses and blue eyes, svelt figure and reputation as an approachable and chirpy addition to the backstage mania of fashion shows have earned her the reputation and respect of fashion followers and the industry alike.
To add to her resume, in 2009 Linchuk accompanied fashion designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of Rag & Bone to a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards dinner, but their date turned into a business meeting as the three decided to create a leather jacket together. Since her parents owned a leather goods store in Belarus when she was growing up and with her own jacket collection that boasts 15, it’s safe to say that Maryna’s eponym is totally deserving of her name.
