She is one of the most “well-rounded” Latin models we’ve come across. And one who loves to show off her beauty – whilst portraying a reserved allure. Born in 1979, in Argentina, she was scouted whilst tanning on a beach in Uruguay, when a scout noticed her beauty and unmistakable potential. Her career was set in motion at this point and she was soon seen in Marie Claire and Harper’s Bazaar and, like many models before her, she decided to move to New York City where she landed print campaigns for Chloe, Victoria’s Secret and Emmanuel Ungaro.
In 2000 she landed her first spot in Sports Illustrated and then again the following year, solidifying her status as a supermodel. She is, apparently, an avid reader of poetry, enjoying the works of poets such as Allen Ginsberg, Dylan Thomas, Shel Silverstein, Maya Angelou and Pablo Neruda.
