Kate Upton is a 5’10”, blonde, blue eyed American model that we just can’t get enough of. This 19 year old was born in St. Joseph, Michigan, and was raised in Melbourne, Florida.
Her modelling career started when this ambitious sensation attended a casting call in 2008 in Miami for Elite Model Management, where she was signed, but eventually she moved to New York City where she then signed with IMG Models.
Upton is the 2010/11 face of Guess and this year she appeared in the body paint section of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and she was named Rookie of the Year for the same issue. That boost in her career then saw her model for Beach Bunny swimwear and the ever popular Victoria’s Secret.
Earlier this year an internet video of her doing the Dougie at a Los Angeles Clippers game went viral and with over two million hits on YouTube, it has served to increase her popularity even more so. This year she was also named Esquire Magazine’s “The Woman of the Summer” – so after all that we have mentioned about her, we think it’s fair to say that 2011 belongs to this gorgeous blonde bombshell…
