Victoria’s Secret model Doutzen Kroes is a popular entity on the catwalk, not hard to believe, she can wear the hell out of a piece of lingerie.
Originally from Netherlands, this Dutch knockout aspired to be a professional speed skater. Thank goodness for us, common sense prevailed and she became an outstanding lingerie model. In 2003 she applied to a modelling agency in Holland. The agency liked what they saw and sent her off to New York. She successfully was cast as a model for Victoria’s Secret and she had never heard of the brand prior to going to America. To date she has enjoyed massive success as a prized model, having appeared on the covers of Time Magazine, Vogue, Elle and many others.
Kroes has modelled in many major modelling events and she has also done work for Calvin Klein, Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, and Versace among others. There was even a documentary made on her modelling exploits. Forbes Magazine listed her in the World’s top 15 Top Earning Supermodels.
