Daisy Lowe is only 22 years old but this North Londoner has made a name for herself on all levels from tabloids to fashion mags, paparazzi to rock ‘n roll royalty.
Not only is she one of the most promising supermodels, she is also the love child of fashion designer Pearl Lowe and rock master, Gavin Rossdale from the band Bush. And her little black book? Well, let’s just say super producer Mark Ronson is counted as one of her ex-boyfriends.
Lowe is not just a darling of the fashion world, she is an occasional DJ and a must-follow fashionista. In 2005, Lowe was spotted by a talent scout who encouraged her to give modelling a second chance after she turned it down a few years earlier.
Within a year, Lowe graced the covers of Italian Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. She has since appeared in ad campaigns for Urban Outfitters, French Connection and Agent Provocateur. In 2007, she went risqué by posing nude along with her boyfriend Will Blondelle for the cover of i-D, a cutting-edge British fashion magazine. She has even posed for Playboy.
As if her stunning looks and rocking bod is not enough, this girl still remains a wallflower by heart saying, “I don’t surround myself with fashion people,” she explains. “My boyfriend’s a musician, and I still hang out with my school friends.”
