This French beauty, Aurélie Claudel, was discovered in a Paris park, the Jardin des Plantes, in 1995 (she was born August 7, 1980 in Saint-Mars-d’Outillé, France) and comes from a prominent French family where her father was a distinguished notary. Her father objected to her quitting school to peruse her modelling career, but she was too determined to let her dreams go and by 18 she was on the cover of a European edition of Cosmopolitan.
Aurélie has made appearances in Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and some Victoria’s Secret catalogues. Her additional campaigns include work for Bloomingdales, Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein, J. Crew, Nautica, Oscar de la Renta, and Tommy Hilfiger, among notable others.
Her unquestionable beauty and poise in front of the camera earned her work with legendary photographers like Mario Testino, who photographed Aurélie in an edition of the Pirelli calendar, Peter Lindbergh and Steven Meisel.
